Elektrophon - It's not just a machine
We spent 4 days for recording (the whole band together), then 3 weeks for mixing and 3 days for mastering

Elektrophon is a crazy music band playing a kind of music which is practically not possible to describe ;) well, they are playing instrumental music, a very experimental mix between acoustic and electronic music with drums, bass, acoustic and electric guitar and a good amount of crazy (linux-based!) synths... playing drum'n'bass, mixing dub with bossa nova and putting full distorted guitar parts between all this stuff.... okay, I give up to explain, just have a listen to this awesome stuff!
Käpt'n Dirt - The Dirt Experience

Käpt'n Dirt is the solo project of Strings Intemporal's cello player. He is looping himself on the cello, combing classical music with groovy beats and beautiful melodies. Amazing! This project was a great challange for me mixing 8 looped cello parts together on each songs, 8 times the same instrument on one mix! Crazy.. but the result now is amazing. Really worth to have a listen!! ...and don't forget the hidden hip hop track produced in the studio, as well ;)

Strings Intemporal - Surfing the border

Strings Intemporal is playing a beautiful mix between cello and acoustic guitar, the music takes its influences between classical, flamenco, jazz and all the stuff you can imagine with these two instruments. Very, very nice stuff.

Finally released! ;) This album is full of beautiful tunes representing the "open source" philosophy: each riddim is remixed many times with a lot of different featuring artists... reggae, dub, dancehall, melodica, hip hop, freestyle and a lot of love. Kathinka Marcks is an amazing storytelling artist... :) This record is a storrytelling album and it is based on her journey through Ethiopia, mixed with a couple of very nice african tales! Futhermore we recorded Ras Andy with the Djembe and his self-made bamboo-flute for the transitions between the tracks...wow the combination is amazing!! ;) Such a nice journey...

These two german street musicians (Helga with the fiddle and David with the accordion) are playing traditional music from Ireland, France and other countries. The session was so amazing, they just played and improvised around and we made a great recording with that! ;)

Sarumba are street musicians from Spain and Italy mixing flamenco guitar and cajon with beautiful melodies influenced by psychedelic music. They met in Galway, Ireland and decided to start a new project together, a couple of days later we met them and started recording this nice little album! They decided to put this album under the creative commons licence on jamendo.com, so it's downloadable for free in full quality! enjoy!
Slencha
We met in Galway, Ireland to drink a coffee and we decided to record one of her little improvisations... then we put the bass and the djembe. The songs was recorded and mixed after 2 hours!

Strings Intemporal are an acoustic guitar - cello combo playing beautiful music from classical music to spanish and gypsy sound. After a big tour in Germany and New Zeeland these street musicians got a femal singer and recorded a new album with her.

Samadhi - Mondovojaĝo
For this recording we spent a lot of time (6 months-ish) with the musicians to make it as good as possible. Recording in different places and mixing creatively, then cd artwork (with a 12-pages booklet) and the duplication.
